Interim Vehicle Service

If you’re taking your vehicle on a journey or do regular short journeys around town or done 6,000 miles and not checked your car for about 6 months (whichever is sooner) we recommend having an interim service to keep your car roadworthy and safe.

An Interim service includes oil and oil filter change, we also check all the lights, wipers condition, fluid levels, brake inspection, power steering reservoir, anti-freeze, washer fluid and do a tyre and suspension check.

What is an Interim Service?

Does an interim service include an oil change

We will change your oil and oil filter as part of your interim service.
Does an interim service check your battery

Yes, interim car services include inspection and testing of the battery.
How often should I have an interim service

With older cars, we recommend having an interim car service every six months. A full car service is the only package that checks all aspects of your car though.
How long does an interim service take?

An interim service usually takes around 1 hour 30 mins, providing there are no issues with your vehicle.
Why get an interim service and MOT together?

We'll run your car through our servicing checklist before it's MOT so you can relax with more confidence that your vehicle will pass its test. An interim service before an MOT is a great option if you've already had it serviced earlier in the year.

Full Vehicle Service

A full service is a comprehensive service of your vehicle and is a more in depth examination of your vehicle to ensure that everything is running smoothly, most manufacturers recommend that your vehicle is serviced once a year or every 12,000 miles, (whichever is sooner).

A Full Service of your vehicle includes an oil and oil filter change, air filter, we will check and top up all fluids, we also check your Battery, Tyres, lights, Wiper, pollen filter, Wash System, spark plugs, Brakes – check clean and adjust and service lights reset, or your on board computer and update it with our state of the art diagnostic equipment

What is an full Service?

A full service is more extensive than an interim service, it is recommended that you service your car every 12 months or 12,000 miles – again, whichever comes first for trouble-free motoring.
How long will a full car service take?

A comprehensive full car service can usually take around two-to-three hours to complete and will depend on the type of vehicle you have, and the issues that may be present.
How often should I have a full comprehensive service?

This is an annual service for most vehicles being used on a regular basis.
What do I need to take with me?

Please bring along your vehicle log book if you have one so that we can stamp this once the service is completed, please also bring your locking wheel nut key so that we can carry out a full wheel-off brake check during the service.
What does a full car service include?

By booking a full service and an MOT at the same time you’re giving your vehicle the best chance of passing its MOT.
We'll run your car through our servicing checklist before its MOT this will give you more confidence that your vehicle will pass the test.

What if additional parts are required?

We will contact you and explain what the problem is before doing any extra work. We won’t carry out any extra work without your approval.

Professional Vehicle Diagnostic Fault Service

If a warning light or fault code has appeared on your dashboard give us a call we use the latest state-of-the-art car diagnostic test equipment to help troubleshoot your vehicle system.

Our standard diagnostic check can take up to 1 hour. However, if additional time is required we will contact you for approval before proceeding.

We use the latest diagnostic tools and software to discover the fault with your vehicle. These tools are also required to reset the fault codes on your vehicle’s on-board diagnostics.
